Meet Atlas & Friends

In the seaside town of Kookaburra Bay, a curious boy with a curl that never stays flat is learning how to be a detective — the kind who helps.

Atlas

Atlas loves asking questions — especially "Can you tell me more?" He notices the little things: a worried face, a muddy shoe, a friend sitting alone. He isn't the fastest or the smartest, and sometimes he gets it wrong. But he never gives up on someone who needs help.

Favourite saying: "Let's find out together!"

Dash

Dash is Atlas's cheeky dachshund. His long body squeezes under benches and bushes where clues like to hide, and his nose can sniff out almost anything. He's brave about everything — except thunderstorms.

Kirra

Atlas's best friend and next-door neighbour. Kirra reads the weather, the land and animal tracks, and she's the best storyteller in town.

Mei

Mei sketches everything she sees, and her drawings catch clues everyone else misses.

Leo

Leo is the team's map-maker and joke-teller. He knows every shortcut in Kookaburra Bay and gets there fast in his wheelchair.

Sami

Sami is calm, kind and speaks three languages. He notices how people are feeling, even when they don't say a word.

Noah

Noah knows every bus and train timetable by heart. He spots patterns no one else can see — and always tells the truth.

Hunter

Hunter is fast, brave and loves to win. He and Atlas didn't get along at first, but now they make a great team.

Detective Ruth

The kind detective who inspired Atlas to become a helper. She never gives Atlas the answer — she helps him find it.

Everyone in the Helping Crew is different — and that's what makes them such a great team.
